I am 32

I know, right?

And I don’t feel a day over 26. I may not look 26 anymore but honestly, I could not care less. As long as I am still willing and able to do what I want, I’m good.

Speaking of 26, let’s get nostalgic for a bit, shall we?

I remember around that time I was kind of an idiot with regards to money. I was spending willy-nilly on online games and trips back and forth to the province just to wakeboard for a few days. I even got the credit card involved, in a bad way.

Yep, total idiot.

Had I only known back then that I’d be very much into visiting Japan, I would’ve immediately dropped the whole online games thing. Now that I think about it, discovering I have an interest in Japan contributed a lot in me somewhat getting a handle on my mindless spending.

As for wakeboarding, I’m still not over it. Sure, I hadn’t been in the water in the last 9 months but I’m just timing my comeback. With another international competition coinciding with the park’s 10th anniversary this coming October and winter creeping up, the place is going to be packed until probably March 2017.

While I wait for that opening, I can focus on my Japanese language studies (which I am sorely behind) and going on more trips to Japan.

Having said that, I’d like to put here the places I’ve been to so that I’ll have a singular place to look when I’m planning new trips.

Also, I prefer hiking the mountains in Japan. Well, for one, I get to be really alone when I do that. As compared to here where there’s almost always a requirement for a guide.
